To celebrate its 50th anniversary, the Quai d'Orsay brand has released a special edition cigar, the Especial d'Orsay, in 2024. This limited-production toro cigar is 6 inches long and has a 54 ring gauge, corresponding to the Sobresalientes vitola in the Cuban cigar classification system. Although detailed tasting notes for this specific release are still emerging, the Quai d'Orsay line is characteristically known for delivering a medium-bodied smoking experience with a rich array of flavors, including notes of honey, nutmeg, the richness of café cream, and subtle hints of leather. The Especial d'Orsay is packaged in standard boxes containing 20 cigars, as well as in exclusive gift boxes that hold five cigars, with a controlled production run to preserve its exclusivity.
